May 13, 2020 -- The key words here are "study guide." Many people have asked about the foundations of this novel. The study guide for individuals and small groups comes in at 46 pages in its first draft. We'll see whether it grows or shrinks through the editing and test period! The guide will be given away on the website. Current plans also involve its publication combined with the novel for those who both under one cover. Editing also continues on Book Two... more on all of this later!

What was once new?

June 4, 2019 -- A hint at my next book. After a few months of deliberation, I've decided to go with my mother's edit...

Dec. 18, 2019 -- Here's an experiment in audio books. Just keep repeating to yourself: It can only get better... it can only get better... it can only get better... Perhaps that should be a prayer...

Dec. 1, 2019 -- After an extensive struggle to transfer old computer files, and weeks of reading and correcting two different proofs, The Prophet and the Dove finally sees print! This whole escapade should be covered in two or more blogs, so email me if you don't see them. If its Amazon production route succeeds, the rest of the fleet may come down this path! Stay tuned!

Nov. 15, 2019 -- The webmaster asks forgiveness for putting news within blogs and Facebook/Instagram posts instead of this page, where it rightfully belongs. So here's a photo update on the new book and series undergoing its last edit before production!

June 26, 2019 -- A new line of videos debuts to help boost my Instagram account across the 700-follower level.

Oct. 24, 2018 -- Hey, those of you looking for the taste of Ireland at lunch, check out McHuston Booksellers & Irish Bistro in downtown Broken Arrow, OK! There you'll find signed copies of my books!

Sept. 17, 2018 -- We were so thankful for the participation seen in Save Bridget Day, our first social media marketing event for Gods Furry Angels and its companion book, A Year in the Lives of God's Furry Angels. Our thanks to everyone who joined in this Sept. 17 treasure hunt and selfie-fest.

August 27, 2018 -- The third book by Gods Furry Angels author Kirby Lee Davis will publish Oct. 9. Reflective of yesteryear’s screwball farces, The Road to Renewal unveils a three-day cascade of trials and tribulations that spur its divorced protagonist father to question his faith and life.

The book’s tone undergoes dramatic change through its 280 pages. As much tragedy as comedy, The Road to Renewal delivers a rare Christian tale enjoyable by nonbelievers, with engaging scenes that draw frequent laughs amidst its escalating conflict. The novel ends with a contemplative call that will move readers for years to come. The Road to Renewal should appeal to teen and adult audiences.
